Mehdi Pourhaji Bagher, born in 1356 SH, was approximately 48 years old when he was killed on January 8, 2026, in Tehransar, Tehran. He reportedly died after being shot from behind by government forces. He was the uncle of Arash Asgari, who was also killed on the same day.
مهدی پورحاجی باقر، متولد سال ۱۳۵۶، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در تهرانسر، تهران، در سن حدود ۴۸ سالگی کشته شد. گزارشها حاکی از آن است که او بر اثر شلیک از پشت سر توسط ماموران حکومتی جان باخت. او دایی آرش عسگری بود که در همان روز به قتل رسید.
